CAMI (Carolina Age Management Institute) expansion and overall renovation project

Office Interior Design - CAMI Waiting Area After

Carolina Age Management Institute was expanding and renovating. They asked for a united look throughout the Institute with clean lines, an elegant but warm feeling for their clients, and furniture items that were mobile, not built in, so that they could use them as they expanded.

Sherwin Williams 7016 Mindful Gray was selected for the walls. Bespoke Custom Wood Works was brought in to make artistic and functional product display cases and shelving, cabinets, and a conference table.

The waterfall was installed in the waiting area to help provide a more calming feel for those maybe nervous for treatment for the first time. Displays of products around the waterfall served as an inviting overall product presentation.

We wanted to highlight the CAMI brand more throughout the Institute. We also wanted privacy from those walking by the two entrance doors to the office. I suggested a frosted glass door but also incorporated the business logo within the frosting. They wanted a logo or sign above the reception desk. I suggested a unique metal piece with blue back light contrast to the gray walls. This back lit CAMI sign is a differentiator and provides a great affect.

The artwork I selected for the treatment rooms, hallways, bathrooms, and waiting areas were inspired by the grey/blue in the logo, spa like influence, and water. Most of the pieces were abstract allowing each person to use their imagination.
